The South Asia – Middle East – North Africa region’s SAMENA Telecommunications Council and US-based CMO Council have formed a partnership agreement to facilitate marketing intelligence-gathering and sharing of business insights that are required to operate and guarantee revenue prospects in the evolving digital ecosystem.
The new partnership framework, mutually developed by both the SAMENA Council and CMO Council is designed to fortify the SAMENA Council’s telecommunications and digital focus with CMO Council’s experience in addressing operators’ revenue issues. As part of this collaboration agreement, both the SAMENA Council and CMO Council will undertake the creation of new knowledge, verify cross-regional information, and project the findings of their studies to their respective membership. As a result of this collaboration, both the SAMENA Council and CMO Council will explore means to collectively address operators’ commercial issues.
The SAMENA Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Bocar BA, feels that “Our partnership with CMO Council is a way to bring additional value to our valued members. Through this collaboration with CMO Council, we look forward to aiding a more streamlined creation and exchange of marketing knowledge and assist in the creation of new strategies that telecom operators require today. Both organizations’ synergies should help create a positive effect for the telecom industry.”
Sharing his views, Bryan DeRose, CMO Council’s Vice President, Business Development & Partnerships, stated that “We are thrilled to enter into this collaborative partnership with the SAMENA Council. The CMO Council is committed to exploring business and marketing challenges, imperatives, and best practices across our global peer-powered thought leadership studies. Through our partnership with the SAMENA Council, we will work closely to examine the telecommunications industry and share valuable knowledge brokering engagements amongst our joint memberships.”
As key stakeholders supporting their respective operator members’ interests and needs, the SAMENA Council and CMO Council will engage in setting up new cross-regional initiatives and will collaborate on activities that are common to their modus operandi.
