A key meeting was held at the office of the Parliamentary Secretary for Education in Islamabad to discuss Pakistan’s future direction in education and artificial intelligence (AI). The meeting focused on integrating AI into the national education system and fostering international collaboration to enhance education and health sectors.
Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad, an information technology and AI visionary based in Australia, expressed his strong commitment to leading Pakistan into a new technological era. He stressed the urgent need for a comprehensive AI curriculum, extending from primary schools to universities, to equip students with the skills required to excel in a rapidly changing global tech environment.
“This initiative, under the Ministry of Federal Education, aims to provide Pakistani students with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in today’s tech-driven world,” Dr. Ahmad said. He emphasized that Pakistan must adapt proactively to technological changes, noting that embedding AI into the education system will help prepare youth to become leaders, innovators, and valuable contributors to the global economy.
