O2 is announcing a significant upgrade to its mobile network in Manchester, after completing work to boost signal and services in over 5,700 postcodes since the beginning of last year. The operator’s substantial investment to upgrade connectivity in Manchester is already providing residents and businesses with access to faster and more reliable mobile services.
The enhanced 4G and 5G network capacity means that customers in Manchester are now benefitting from improved mobile connectivity, making it easier to access essential online services, work remotely, stream content on the go or simply stay connected with friends and family.
On top of the upgrades in 5,700 postcodes, O2 has also improved mobile connectivity at the city’s Heaton Park. The new site is delivering faster speeds, greater bandwidth, and solid connectivity for visitors and the local community, ahead of a summer of events at the venue.
