On the 24th of June 2025, Kyivstar will free up 3G frequencies in Kyiv in favor of modern 4G. This will improve the quality of mobile Internet and ensure even higher speeds in the capital.The gradual rollout of 4G technology is a multi-year project that is of great importance, as it improves the customer experience and increases the speed of 4G.
Kyivstar encourages customers who haven't switched to 4G technology yet to enable it on their phone or use the simple instructions. If their SIM card does not support 4G, they can replace it with a USIM card at no additional charge, while keeping the same number. To do this, they can visit the nearest Kyivstar store.
