The AI-P5G: Artificial Intelligence-Supported Optimization in Cloud-Based 5G Network Management project, led by Turkcell, has successfully been awarded TÜBİTAK support. Turkcell has become the first and only company from the telecom sector to receive this support in TÜBİTAK's Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem program.
Continuing to develop 5G and artificial intelligence-focused projects with its leadership in the field of technology and digitalization, Turkcell has been awarded support by TÜBİTAK with its R&D project titled AI-P5G: Artificial Intelligence-Supported Optimization in Cloud-Based 5G Network Management, in which it is the consortium leader.
TEYDEB 1711 Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Program, which was first launched by TÜBİTAK in 2022, aims to contribute to the transformation of artificial intelligence technologies into products and solutions and to develop the technological ecosystem in our country in this regard. With its R&D study, which is one of the 11 projects that received support from TÜBİTAK's Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem 2024 program, Turkcell became the first and only company in the telecom sector to receive this support.

As Turkcell, we continue to lead Turkey’s digital transformation journey with our projects focused on artificial intelligence and 5G. We believe that this project, which has been awarded support from TÜBİTAK, will provide gains for the digital transformation journeys of different sectors in addition to supporting academic and technological developments. We aim to strengthen the technology ecosystem in our country with the project where we will implement a smart communication infrastructure at a high automation level for innovative technology applications. Within the scope of the project, which aims to develop a special 5G network management platform based on artificial intelligence, the instantly changing requirements of the network can be predicted using different machine learning techniques.
