This funding will accelerate Airspan's efforts to advance Open RAN architecture by developing an extensible radio unit (O-RU) platform designed to integrate advanced features and maximize power efficiency and performance. Open RAN is a cutting-edge architecture that enables advanced 5G features and lays the foundation for 6G.
