Sweden’s digital terrestrial platform no longer features a pay-TV offer.
Teracom ceased broadcasting the channels on January 2; SVT’s four channels, TV4 and TV Finland are not affected
Tele2 AB’s agreement with Teracom AB for the broadcast of the terrestrial channels expired at the end of 2024.
At its peak in 2012, Boxer held 1.2 million subscribers.
Boxer, now owned by telco Tele2, subsequently decided to cease broadcasting its pay-TV channels via the terrestrial network.
Since last summer, Boxer has been moving customers to Tele2’s internet-connected TV-Hub Mini device, based on Shenzhen SEI Robotics TV SEI700 TE.
