T2 has provided continuous network coverage on a section of the M4 Don highway bypassing Rostov-on-Don and Aksay. To achieve this, the company installed 10 base stations along the highway, ensuring stable voice communication and high-speed mobile Internet over 63 km of the federal highway.
T2 continues to develop network infrastructure along major federal highways. In anticipation of the New Year holidays, the company has achieved 100% network coverage of a toll road section of the M4 Don bypassing Rostov-on-Don and its satellite city of Aksay. This 63 km section connects Platov Airport to the village of Sukhodolsk. The installed equipment operates in 2G/4G standards using the 1800 MHz frequency range.
The antenna mast structures along the M4 Don bypass were installed by the tower company OOO Pilar, a subsidiary of T2. The construction was executed under a cooperation agreement between Avtodor and PAO Rostelecom, which facilitates the installation of network equipment within road rights-of-way and the establishment of LTE networks along highways for the benefit of all telecommunications market participants.

Expanding coverage on the country's strategically important highways is one of T2's priority tasks. In 2024, the company completed two major projects in this area: we were the first of the operators to fully cover the M11 Neva, M12 Vostok and the toll section of the M4 Don bypassing Krasnodar with communications. By the New Year holidays, construction was completed on the eastern bypass of Rostov-on-Don, which is also part of the M4 and allows motorists to bypass Rostov traffic jams in the direction of the Black Sea and Azov coasts. Now, our subscribers have access to high-quality communications and high-speed mobile Internet throughout the entire route along this section.
