Mobile network operator Vivo is set to provide private 4G networks to brewing company Ambev, using Nokia equipment, in a bid to enhance logistical productivity.
In a statement, Nokia explained that the initiative will improve efficiency across 30 Ambev sites, including warehouses, factories, and distribution centres, by enabling internal mobility, better information sharing, and automation through 4G infrastructure.

Our solution, a pioneering innovation in the market, offers reliability and robustness for diverse applications while supporting the integration of connected devices across operational sites,” said Adriano Pereira, Director of IoT, Big Data, and B2B Innovation at Vivo.
“This agreement builds on several digital transformation initiatives already underway at Ambev and opens the door to new solutions,” Pereira added.
