Vodafone has reached a significant milestone, now offering 5G roaming in 93 countries for its customers. This enables users to access high-speed mobile internet across a growing number of global destinations. Vodafone customers can use networks from over 500 partners in more than 200 countries worldwide, with 5G service available in 93 countries, including popular vacation spots for Germans such as Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Canary Islands, the Maldives, the Dominican Republic, and the USA.
The addition of 5G networks in 15 new countries, such as Mauritius, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Guadeloupe, Gambia, Chile, and the Faroe Islands, further strengthens Vodafone’s international offerings. These updates reflect Vodafone’s ongoing efforts to enhance roaming services and cater to the rising demand for fast, reliable mobile internet during international travel.
As part of the European Union's 'Roam-Like-At-Home' principle, Vodafone customers can use their German mobile tariffs in other EU countries without additional roaming charges. For destinations outside the EU, special travel packages are available to help manage roaming costs.
