PTA launches exclusive child online protection training program for employees

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to employee welfare and family support, PTA, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, Telenor and Social Media Tec companies has initiated a three-day specialized workshop on “Child Online Protection.” This program, tailored for PTA’s working parents, addresses the unique challenges they face in ensuring their children’s safety in today’s digital age. The initiative equips PTA employees with advanced tools and strategies to proactively monitor and protect their children’s online presence.

The comprehensive training brings together insights from prominent leaders at global organizations, including UNICEF-ECI, Microsoft, Google, Meta, TikTok, Tencent and Telenor. Key topics include online safety resources for parents and educators, Microsoft’s tools for online protection, the impact of generative AI on child safety, safe gaming practices, Meta’s approach to create a safe online environment and make technologies a better place for everyone.

The program concluded with closing remarks from the Chairman of PTA. This initiative highlights PTA’s dedication to empowering employees with critical skills to secure their families in an increasingly digital world.

PTA once again played a leading role in bringing experts from leading social media companies and tech giants together and designed a unique of its kind workshop first item in Pakistan wherein their experts will guide parents/caregivers and give hands-on experience on their cutting-edge online safety tools, empowering them to effectively manage their children's online activities while balancing educational and essential online needs.
