Ethio Telecom has successfully launched its 5G service across various areas of the Northwest Region of Bahadar city, through the establishment of 5G mobile service stations in the area. The operator has already successfully introduced 5G in the cities of Addis Ababa, Adama, Jigjiga, Dire Dawa, and Harar, as well as their neighboring areas.
As a result, enterprise and individual customers in Bahir Dar, particularly in areas such as Kebele-4 Tele and Tana areas, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopian Electric Power head office, Dib Anbessa Hotel, Bahir Dar Main Market, Avanti, Jakaranda and Kuriftu Hotels, and the Old bus station can now access 5G mobile network services. The operator invites customers to experience 5G mobile unlimited data, 5G to The Home, and a range of 5G mobile packages.
According to the operator, the deployment of 5G will significantly reduce network congestion, empowering individual customers with high-quality, fast communication, digital solutions, and financial services. It also empowers citizens to easily access online education, training, information, and entertainment services, encouraging them to stay competitive, be inspired for innovation, including content creation, and generate income through entrepreneurship.
