The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Nigeria has initiated talks to host four Saudi television channels on Nigeria’s NigComSat-1R satellite. The discussions were led by Saudi Arabia’s Head of Media, Mohammed Alsahabi, during a visit to NigComSat’s offices on Friday.
Mohammed Alsahabi met with NigComSat officials, including Abiodun Attah, Executive Director of Technical Services, to explore collaboration in satellite broadcasting. The discussions centered on the potential benefits of hosting Saudi channels on Nigeria’s satellite platform.
This development marks a significant step in expanding media reach and deepening digital cooperation between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, with the potential to strengthen bilateral ties in satellite technology and broadcasting.
