The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has won the Innovation Award for "Continuity and Resilience" at the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Middle East Awards. This makes CST the first governmental entity in Saudi Arabia to receive this award, reflecting its pioneering role in enhancing innovation and using emerging technologies to enable business continuity and resilience. The award also highlights CST's ongoing commitment to developing strategies and adopting proactive, innovative digital transformation solutions to ensure the sustainability and resilience of its critical operations. This involves anticipating potential risks, preparing for emergencies, crises, and disasters, and managing responses and recovery in a sustainable and effective way.
CST has also been recognized with multiple awards for excellence, such as the international ISO 22301 certification for Business Continuity Management Systems, the ISO 31000 certification for Risk Management Systems, and the ISO 31022 certification for Legal Risk Management, making it the first commission in Saudi Arabia to earn this awards.
