The Digital Regulatory Academy (DRA) held a training program titled "Regulating Emerging Technologies”, which aims to raise awareness of the regulatory framework for emerging technologies, provide insights into developing effective regulatory strategies and examine approaches for identifying and evaluating external impacts and challenges related to these technologies.
The training program featured over 35 experts in regulatory law, economics, and engineering from 18 government and private entities, both locally and globally. The program included an overview of the global regulatory landscape for emerging technologies, offered strategies and tools for developing regulations strategically, as well as examined practical case studies related to the regulation of the emerging technology market within Saudi Arabia.
The program is one of DRA's efforts to enhance the skills of national cadres and improve the leaders in digital regulation. It aims to connect regulators with global organizations through strategic partnerships to utilize best practices and knowledge, thereby elevating the standards of local services.
