Elon Musk’s X, formerly known as Twitter, has released a beta version of a new beta app.
It can be found on several app stores including those of Android TVs, LG, Amazon Fire TV and Google TV. Additional platforms will be added later.
Users will be able to browse video uploaded to X and create their own live streams.

“Paired with our upcoming Video Tab, this marks a massive leap forward in transforming X into a video-first platform and unlocking new opportunities for creators, advertisers, and our partners,” said the X engineering team in a social media post.
It’s known that Elon Musk would like to see X compete with YouTube, so a dedicated app is a logical step, allowing users to access video directly on Big Screens rather than using a mobile device to cast it.
