CST held an educational internship program for scholarship students in space fields in collaboration with Boeing

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) held a one-month Internship Program for scholarship students in Aerospace Engineering in collaboration with Boeing, one of the sector’s pioneering international companies. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing the aircrafts, Space and defence systems, as well as offering distinctive training opportunities for students and graduates in various related fields.

The program aims to invest in national capabilities and acquire practical skills in Space sector, develop human capabilities in Space engineering and science, and promote skills development in Space technologies. It qualifies the students for the job market by involving them in various projects within two phases. The theoretical phase includes NASA's architecture studies from the Moon to Mars and takes place in Texas, while the practical phase, which takes place at the company's location in Alabama, involves experiments in multiple Space projects such as the carbon dioxide removal system for Moon and Mars applications.

This initiative is one of CST’s educational and training programs, collaborating with local and international partners and leveraging top expertise in relevant fields to develop capabilities in space and its sciences, which will accordingly contribute to the nation’s growth and ambitions for future generations.
