LORIOT, a long-range IoT solutions company, and LORATECH, an IoT technological solutions business, have joined forces in a partnership they say is set to transform the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape in Latin America.
This collaboration aims to leverages the strengths of two industry leaders to offer advanced solutions for managing and operating sensor networks.
Through this partnership, the companies aim to streamline IoT network management, bolster data transmission security, and broaden network coverage.
The partnership aims to provide several key benefits, including simplified management via an integrated solution for managing IoT networks, allowing users to oversee their sensor networks through a unified interface. It also intends to offer expanded network coverage and data transmission security.
Recent studies predict that the IoT market in Latin America will grow at a CAGR of 26.7% from 2021 to 2026. This growth is driven by the region's emphasis on implementing IoT solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in areas such as smart cities, agriculture and manufacturing.
LORIOT says it also has plans to launch a new Professional Public Server in Latin America. The addition of this new server will, the company claims, significantly improve the available infrastructure for IoT solutions, providing even greater support for businesses and fostering further innovation in the region.
This isn’t the only IoT deal LORIOT has announce this year. In January LORIOT announced a partnership with SYSCOM, the largest telecommunications and security hardware distributor in Latin America. This new partnership enables both companies to extend the reach of their offerings globally and collaborate on end-to-end solutions that respond to the growing demand for IoT solutions in the Latin American region.
