Canal+ has launched a new streaming offer that places all of its live and replay content into a single app.
The French pay platform says TV+ is in line with its strategy of aggregating the global content platforms, Netflix, Disney+ , Paramount+, Apple TV+ and, shortly, Max.
TV+ brings together more than 80 live and replay television channels, including all terrestrial channel and thematic channels (RTL9, Olympia TV, MTV, Planète+ Aventure, Comédie+, etc.) as well as eight digital channels (Comedy Club, Clique TV, Les Nouveaux Explorateurs, Gym Direct, etc.).
Canal says TV+ is available at any time within its own Canal+ application.
Its launch comes weeks after the debut of revamped services from commercial broadcasters TF1 and M6.
TV+ subscribers will pay a monthly €2 for the features which includes the ability to rewind during a live program, playlist creation, download content to consume offline, the ability to watch four channels at the same time, and access to its content anywhere in Europe.
TV+ is can be accessed through, Chromecast, Airplay, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, PC/Mac, smartphones, tablets and game consoles compatible with the Canal+ application, with the exception of satellite and internet boxes.
