Senior Manager - Relationship & Membership Development

Jawad joined SAMENA Telecommunications Council as Senior Manager, Membership & Relationship Development. Jawad is actively engaged with the membership base of SAMENA Council. His focus is to ensure members requirements, and act as a focal point of contact for all of SAMENA Council’s valuable members.

Jawad is a Telecom professional with 17 years of experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering and Master’s degree in Telecommunication from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA.

Jawad started his professional career in the CDMA R&D division at Nortel Networks, USA where he worked on multiple projects for customers like Sprint and Verizon Wireless. Prior to joining SAMENA Council, he gained significance experience while working for the UAE based operator, “du” in Network and Customer Operations departments. He played a key role and led the management of Mobile Network Operations Center in alliance with major technology service providers Huawei, Ericsson and Nokia. Mr. Jawad also served as Acting Director for du Network Operations Center encompassing all Mobile and Fixed services where he played a leading role in revamping the Network Operations Center from Managed Services operating model to in-source operating model.

Besides his formal education, Jawad holds a PMP & ITIL v3 foundation certifications and also gained multiple leadership & management certifications from du university in collaboration with HULT University and Harvard Business Publishing.
