Arthur D. Little

Karim Taga is Managing Partner of Arthur D. Little and leads the Global TIME (Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media and Electronics) Practice.
He is active in this industry for 18 years already. His interests are primarily focused on three functional areas:

• Growth strategies and business transformations
• Corporate Finance - Transaction support
• Boardroom presentation and facilitation

He acts as Jury for several telecoms awards in Asia, Europe and in the US, beside his role as an advisor in several telecommunication councils and associations as well as governments and regulators. He chairs and facilitates yearly more than 20 top executive international events and conferences on four continents.

Member of Expert Group of global telcos as well as member of Advisory Board of several Organizations on mPayment, mHealth as well as content/OTT.

Karim had a major responsibility and was in charge of more than 100 assignments in Strategy, Organization and Technology for: fixed and broadband operators, content aggregators, media players and broadcasters, suppliers as well as supported investors in corporate finance, bid management and transaction support.

Karim Taga received a Master of Science in 1989 from the Ecole Supérieure de l'Energie et des Matériaux, Orléans France with a master thesis accomplishment at the University of California Berkeley. After his studies he worked as a research assistant at the Vienna University of Technology where he developed an infrared fibre optical sensor. He received his Ph.D. in 1992 followed by an MBA in International Business from the Webster University St Louis Mi in 1993.

Karim Taga is fluent in French and Arabic (mother tongue), English and German.
