Bruce Weinelt is the Head of Digital Transformation at the World Economic Forum. He leads the Digital Transformation Initiative (DTI), a multi-year engagement which serves as the focal point for new insights and themes arising from the digitalization of business and society. He focuses on identifying and creating a better understanding of digital transformation opportunities and risks in industries, as well as common digital patterns and trends across sectors, providing insights and tools required for business model changes and creating a shared understanding of the value that digital can create for business and society. Bruce has over 16 years’ experience in the Information and Communications Technology sector, working in strategy consulting, blue chip multinational corporations, and non-profits across most major markets in Asia, Europe and Africa. Before launching the Digital Transformation Initiative in 2015, Bruce led the Telecommunications Industries Community at the World Economic Forum for three years.
